As a child, I grew up accompanying my mother on business trips, traveling all the way from our beloved Khuzestan to Kuwait. She was a successful merchant who traded goods she carried in her baggage, bringing many products from there to Khuzestan, Not to mention the most exciting part which were our souvenirs. When I was six years old, I had the privilege of visiting Kuwait with her, which made for a memorable and lifechanging experience. I was also in the august company of my grandfather, Sheikh Haj Obeid, also known as ‘Man of the Sea’. This title was derived from his audacity, paired with the level of proficiency he demonstrated while steering Langes through stormy seas. Eighteen years passed and I was employed in a tourism company setting up the first Arabian medical tourism within the company. During my tenure, I had the honor of working with Bahraini, Qatari, and Emirati tourists.
After three and a half years, I joined a freight forwarding company, where I had the opportunity to understand the challenges that merchants, suppliers and carriers typically face in logistics a valuable experience. Stepping into this baptism of fire, I worked my way through and reached the point I was meant to be. Today, I have become one of the suppliers I once served.
